Volkswagen Tiguan Bonus for Current Honda Owners

The Volkswagen Tiguan has long been a refined and well-rounded compact crossover. A recent third-generation redesign further elevated the VW Tiguan's appeal with a bold new look, improved driving dynamics, and a more refined interior with several premium touches, even in the base model. It's one of the segment's most compelling models, and Volkswagen is looking to prove it with a special offer for current Honda owners who make the switch.

$2,000 Bonus: How It Works

Volkswagen is offering a $2,000 bonus incentive aimed at Honda owners or lessees ($1,500 from Volkswagen, $500 from the dealership). Often referred to as a conquest offer, this incentive is valid on new 2025 or 2026 Tiguan models, and runs from October 1, 2025, through January 5, 2026.

If you or someone in your household currently owns or leases a 2015 or newer Honda vehicle, you're eligible for the incentive. Household members at the same residence also can qualify with proof of address, and you don't need to trade in your Honda to get the bonus. The loan or lease must go through Volkswagen Financial Services or an approved lender, so reach out to Sunset Volkswagen of Sarasota for more information.

Volkswagen Tiguan vs. Honda CR-V

When compared to prominent competitors like the Honda CR-V, the VW Tiguan has a number of notable advantages that Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch drivers will appreciate. Here's a quick look at a few examples.

  • While the CR-V has a 9-inch touchscreen, the VW Tiguan boasts a standard 12.9-inch infotainment display (or available 15-inch screen) and a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel.
  • The Tiguan's standard turbo-four engine delivers 201 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque (221 lb-ft with AWD), while the all-new 2026 SEL R-Line Turbo boosts output to 268 hp and 258 lb-ft. The CR-V lags behind with a 190-hp gas engine and 204-hp hybrid powertrain.
  • The VW Tiguan offers premium amenities, including available ventilated and massaging seats--features the CR-V doesn't offer.
