We are constantly sanitizing our vehicles, offices, showroom, etc..What Edmunds.com says about this vehicle..For 2017, the Audi Q7 receives its first major redesign since it debuted all the way back for the 2007 model year. That's a long time to wait, but the changes are worth it. From the outside, the new Q7 features a more wagonlike profile highlighted by sharper-looking styling and an imposing angular grille. The interior is also very different, picking up cues and technology from the luxurious yet still understated A8 sedan. Even though this is Audi's biggest crossover SUV, the Q7 is surprisingly easy to drive. It's pretty easy to see out of and is relatively nimble around turns (especially when it's fitted with the optional adaptive air suspension and four-wheel steering). But the new Q7 is even more impressive when you consider that it can almost drive itself. Using vast amounts of data from sensors and cameras on the vehicle, the Q7 can relieve the driver from long-distance tedium by maintaining speed and distance to cars in front, staying within its lane, automatically slowing before entering a turn and even reading speed limit signs and adjusting accordingly. Besides the approach toward full autonomy, the 2017 Q7 also improves upon its luxury status with high-quality materials inside and exceptional comfort. With all of the latest infotainment technology available, even hard-core early adopters should be impressed with the Q7's features and how easy it is to use them. Despite a curb weight of almost 5,000 pounds, the 2017 Audi Q7 is surprisingly maneuverable and nimble. Especially if the optional adaptive air suspension and four-wheel steering are specified, the Q7 drives as if it's actually a size smaller, like Audi's Q5. This athleticism doesn't come at the expense of ride quality, either. Rough pavement is effortlessly smoothed over, and the cabin remains blissfully quiet. When equipped with the V6, accelerating to highway speeds or passing is easy, and the responsive eight-speed transmission is a nice added touch. Just as significant as what the driver can draw from the Q7 is what the car can do on its own. Combining existing technologies such as lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, forward-looking cameras and navigation information, the Q7 can help drivers considerably during congested freeway commutes or vast, unpopulated highway stretches by doing much of the driving on its own.

  • Research the maintenance needs

    3.0
Overall I have been pleased with my Q7, but I would suggest that any potential buyer invests in time-consuming due diligence to truly understand what is necessary for the maintenance of a performance vehicle. I experienced loud brake squeaking around 15,000 miles and was told that I would most likely need to replace in the span of a few months. At 20,000 miles I have been advised that my tires and brakes need to be replaced. This is very common amongst Audi and the Q7. It is a critical missing piece to truly understand the cost of ownership and I think it is important for the consumer to know. Other than that, the Q7 fits my needs offering a usable third row without the large size. It is somewhat generic interior is unimpressive. The technology within is fun, and like most new things, can be glitchy at times. Overall it is reliable.
  • Surprisingly dull, not quick, big SUV

    4.0
After driving my Son in laws Audi A5 with the 2.0 turbo I was impressed by the performance so I thought Id give the Q7 a try with this engine. I found the driving experience more similar to my Chevrolet Tahoe than to my Acura RDX. The car is big (wheelbase within 1 of Tahoe) and does not feel sporty. It is quiet and smooth, and the interior appointments are first class. The German MMI system is complicated and causes the driver to take attention away from the road. With the 2.0 turbo, power is adequate but not inspiring. With the size of this vehicle, it lumbers around corners. And then there is the low rpm 4 cyl groan sound that I hate. The comfort drive setting causes the low rpm shift points that make you feel like the car is lugging. Dynamic improves that somewhat. I should have bought the BMW X5 or tried the Audi Q5. 3rd row seat is extremely difficult to enter/exit. Best thing about it is that it stows well and you can forget it is there.
  • Wanted to close the deal and drive it home but....

    4.0
Went to the dealership and try finalize the deal weve made the other night. This time I brought the wife whod be driving this particular SUV. Shes been driving the volvo XC90 which is over 10 years old. So at least she can distinguish her likes and dislikes: She likes the value, driving dynamics, comfort/convenience, design and quality. Most of the things that these other reviewers here, all you tube reviewers and KBB Exert reviers are true and music to her ears. But there things that important to her that closed her fists. Third row air vents - If you have 4 passengers and a driver then its hard for the air to get to the 3rd row. In this case she has her dog always wanted to ride with mama. Texas heat would be just to hot if she has to wait for the air to circulate to the trunk or 3rd row. No spare tire - Run flat tire is a nightmare most of the time. MSRP of this car doesnt even makes sense not to have one. Not enough selections for the type and size of these tires. Not even mentioning the cost each tire. 300-400 per Audi connect prime plus - This should be at least 24 months to 48 months free subscription instead of 6 months. Adaptive cruise control - Should be replaced with semi-autonomous. Heads Up Display - should have the choice to Turn Off/ON and includes turn signal. Center Console - Storage is very small and not so deep where the apple car play or android auto USB plugs are located. Think the USB plug thats located at the front of the console might serve the same purpose. not sure Android mini USB that comes with it is not compatible with Galaxy note 7 or 8. Cup Holders - Just Tiny for our needs. 2nd row center middle seat - Not friendly for adult passenger because the floor is not flat. Why takes up so much height in the center floor? 3rd row seats - just a sales gimmick. Youd break either your knees, ankles, or back sitting there for a long drive. 1 year periodic maint- should increase to 4 years like the other brand.
